Crazy For You
is the updated version of the 1930 Gershwin musical "Girl Crazy". It opened on Broadway in 1992, won the Tony Award for "Best Musical" and ran for four years - over 1600 performances. It also had a very successful three year run at The Prince Edward, one of the largest West End Theatres.

Crazy For You features many of the best known and most popular Gershwin numbers including:

I Got Rhythm • K-ra-zy For You • They Can't Take That Away From Me • Embraceable You • Someone To Watch Over Me • Slap That Bass • The Real American Folk Song

The show is filled with song and dance and Ken Ludwig's hilarious comic dialogue. Any audience will be captivated by this artfully constructed and dazzlingly staged tale of boy meeting girl in the Wild West where, ultimately, everyone ends up happily with the one they love.

Music and Lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin • Book By Ken Ludwig
Co-conception by Ken Ludwig and Mike Ockrent • Inspired by Material by Guy Bolton and John McGowan
Originally produced on Broadway by Roger Horchow and Elizabeth Williams
By arrangement with MusicScope and Stage Musicals Ltd of New York

Crazy For You was a very good show for us - enjoyed by the cast and the audience. Ticket sales reached 95%, with three out of the four performances sold out.
