Half a Sixpence was a hugely enjoyable show for the cast and the audiences all appeared to thoroughly enjoy themselves - many saying it was our best yet!! Sadly, ticket sales couldn't match the quality of the show, as we only sold around 85%. This was very disappointing for the group, but we are all still hugely proud of the show!

Half A Sixpence revolves around Arthur Kipps, an orphan and a draper's apprentice in London at the turn of the century. He inherits a fortune and becomes engaged to an upper-class girl. He breaks this engagement to marry a working-class girl and loses his money in a crooked business scheme. David Heneker's score includes many famous numbers such as:

If The Rain's Got To Fall • Money To Burn • Half A Sixpence • Flash, Bang, Wallop! • Economy • The Party's On The House
