Godspell is the creation of John-Michael Tebelak and Stephen Schwartz (more recently known for his global award winning smash, Wicked). First performed in the 1970s, it is the story of a disparate group of people brought together under the guidance and teachings of one man. It includes a huge variety of musical theatre styles and covers most genres of music from rock to gospel to country.
